French architecture is set to undergo a major transformation.
Its most famous, yet least appreciated, architectural icon, the Arc de Triomphe, is being replaced with the Arc du Triomphen, a massive statue of a sun.
The project has been proposed to the French government as a way of reclaiming a piece of French culture lost to the industrial revolution and modernity.
The Arc du Transplanted, located on the site of the famous Arc de Triumph in Paris, is currently undergoing a massive renovation, as part of a major public art project.
It will be the largest of its kind in the world, measuring a staggering 9,500m (33,000ft) tall.
“I have always admired this place, and it will be an opportunity to recreate the architectural heritage of the city and to honour the contribution of French designers to this area,” said Jean-Paul Baudrillard, who has been a proponent of the project.
“I want to celebrate the contribution French architecture made in the last half century.”
Baudillard, known as “architect for life”, is a pioneer in the field of architectural history, having founded the Paris-based organisation Archaia, which aims to create and preserve architectural history for future generations.
It is the second major public exhibition in the city to be proposed by the government, following a major exhibition of French architectural and historical works in 2017.
In June, the city of Paris announced plans to build a huge new museum to celebrate French architecture, with an estimated cost of €20bn ($26bn).
“This is a big project, but it is an opportunity for the city, because the Arc has been destroyed by the industrialisation and the fragmentation of modern architecture,” said Mayor Philippe Couillard, who is overseeing the construction.
According to Couillard’s official website, the new museum will be opened in 2020.
Architecture, History and Heritage Minister Thierry Le Foll, who introduced the idea, said: “The Arc de Transplants will be a monument to the work of French architects, whose legacy we need to rediscover and to remember.”
A total of 11,000,000 sq metres (6,000 acres) of the Arc will be renovated, which will include an outdoor pavilion with a terrace, a public gallery and gardens.

“In the future, we will be able to see how architecture was born, and how it became an icon in the face of modernity.”

The public artworks will be funded through the Arc d’Architectures Nationale (AARC), which is a national organization of architects and urban planners.
The organization was founded in 1994, and is a consortium of firms and institutions that promotes the use of design in public life.
‘The Arc of Triomphea’The new museum is to be built at the Arc, one of the most important points in the French capital.
It is a massive structure of nearly 3,000 metres (12,000 feet) high, built to commemorate the Arc of Triumph, a triumphal arch of Paris, and the Arc Du Triomphes, the three largest solar monuments in France.
This monument was erected in 1225 to mark the victory of the French army over the English in the battle of the Pyrenees.
During the 19th century, the area around the Arc was transformed into a park and is now the site for a number of festivals and events, including the Paris Festival of the Stars, which commemorates the victory over England.
After a century of industrialisation, it has been transformed into the Arc as part the city’s regeneration plans.
But the Arc’s most important feature remains, the statue of the sun, a towering sculpture that stands in front of a courtyard, flanked by a number, including a woman and a boy.
A sculpture of the Sun, a sculpture of a man and a woman, is also on show.
For the public, the monument is a symbol of the great progress made by French architecture.
André Lutwak of the Architecta Nationale, the French architects association, said that this monument will help to restore the French way of life.
“The sun is an important symbol, a symbol that expresses a desire for our future, for our vision, for how we want to live our lives.
That’s why we have to keep the sun at the centre of our work,” he told AFP.
“It is a very important symbol for the
