The Lego Architecture 2020 (LEAF) project aims to create a new model for architecture in which everything is made out of Lego bricks and the pieces are meant to fit together like the parts of a puzzle.
The Lego model is supposed to be able to create 3D models of buildings, cars and homes.
In its first year, the project has already generated more than 10 million views on YouTube and has more than 1.3 million Lego bricks in its network.
In 2016, the team had to remove an entire brick and replace it with a new one.
It also had to install more than 20,000 Lego parts, which had to be placed on new pieces.
The project’s founders, architect Frank Gehry and LEGO architect Frank Oster, also have a history of using bricks to make their buildings.
In 2013, they created the LEGO Friends building from bricks that were used to build the LEGO model of the famous Star Wars character Princess Leia from Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace.
“LEAF is the most significant architectural movement in the world and one of the most exciting things to me in my lifetime,” Gehry said.
“Lego architecture is a global phenomenon, and we’re going to bring it to the masses, not just in our home countries but around the world.
I’m excited about this.”
