Architecture Internships at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)The Massachusetts Institute for Technology (MIT) is the largest public university in the United States.
It is home to more than 5,500 undergraduate and graduate students, including over 400 students in the College of Engineering.
This includes more than 500 students who are in graduate school or have received an MA or PhD in architecture.
While the vast majority of the MIT students in residence are from China, there are also a handful of students from Russia, the United Kingdom, and the Philippines.
These students often get the chance to work in a variety of ways on campus, from teaching, teaching-led programs, and in various departments.
The internship opportunities are limited to six weeks per semester and start on September 30th.

The program is for students interested in designing and building a new urban space.

The programs are offered in both English and Spanish.
The Architectural program requires a minimum grade of 3.5 and a maximum of 8 semester hours of supervised design work.

Boston Public Architecture Program The Boston Public Art Program is a graduate and undergraduate program at MICH that provides an opportunity for students to become involved in the design of public art projects.
Students interested in this program can earn an associate’s degree in architecture and urban planning and a master of urban design from MICA.
The Master of Architecture degree is an additional option, which allows students to earn a master degree in architectural design as well as take advantage the MA and PhD program in urban design.
Interns must have an MA in Architecture or an MA and a PhD in urban planning.
Architectures Internships by Boston Public SchoolsThe Massachusetts Architecture Program (MASAP) is a collaborative program of MICA, the Boston College Graduate School of Architecture, and Boston University.
The MASAP offers four types of internship opportunities: The Architectures Program at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (BAIT) offers an associate degree in urban or design; The Architectories Program at Boston College (BCC) offers a master in urban and design; the Architectures Programs at the Massachusetts School of Design (MASS) offers two master’s degrees in urban architecture and design and an associate of arts degree.
Students in the Architectural Programs are expected to be involved in design and design projects, which include building, designing, and executing.
